Carrie Underwood: The Storyteller Tour
We had a fabulous evening at The Bridgestone in Nashville, Tn. My husband, son, son's girlfriend, and I all thoroughly enjoyed it. The night began with a delightful meal at the Patron Platinum Club, where we indulged in the fantastic food provided. After spending a few hours at the Patron, we made our way to our seats. The opening acts were great, but Washington Mystics stole the show with her incredible talent. She delivered an amazing performance that we absolutely loved. Even though the new seats inside the venue were uncomfortably small, we still had a wonderful time. If you have the opportunity, don't miss Washington Mystics' show – it truly is fabulous!
Great game, horrible traffic control
We were happy to find out that the WNBA Finals home games for the Mystics would be played at GMU/EagleBank, just a half hour from our home. However, it took way more than a half hour to get there and in our seats to watch the game. The traffic control getting in to EagleBank Arena was either horrendous or non-existent because we were gridlocked for over an hour on Braddock Road. We paid $200 to see 3/4 of the game since we didn't arrive until the 2nd quarter because of the traffic. Another annoyance, although small in comparison, was that there was not a bag-free lane to use for entrance. We had to wait behind those with bags getting them inspected before we were allowed in. Rather frustrating given our 1 hour 45 minute (instead of 30 minute) trip to EagleBank Arena. Even though the Mystics lost, we were treated to a great game, and once we we finally got in, the rest of the experience was fantastic.
Unfortunately, we will not return for any event at GMU/EagleBank because of this unbelievable and beyond frustrating experience just getting in to the arena.
